FAQ

We can usually schedule a new patient or follow up appointment within 2-3 weeks of the requested time.

In case of acute pain we can schedule faster, usually within a few days or so.

The number of labs recommended will depend on your individual situation including the number of issues you struggle with and the length of time you have been experiencing them, but the range is 1-4 lab tests (usually 3).

This will depend on your individual and financial situation. You can always start a program just by ordering a single test.

Blood results are back after 1 week, saliva, stool and urine tests take a bit longer, usually 3-4 weeks.
After evaluation we will contact you to schedule a follow up appointment to review your results.

Fees vary based on type of consultation and time. Please contact our office for more information on fees: termin(at)ganzheitliche-medizin.berlin

Depending on the lab tests, the cost is 72€-950€. The lab costs are separate from my consultation costs and depend on your individual and financial situation and your insurance (private more expensive than legal insurance)

Private insurances usually cover the costs, legal insurances not. There are private complementary insurances which cover the costs partially.

Results vary by each person. Some people feel dramatic improvement within the first month, others may take a bit longer. Our standard programs are for a minimum of 6 months. Remember, your body didn’t fail overnight. Years of stress and illness takes its toll and it takes a proper amount of time to restore. On average it takes one month of repair for each year you’ve suffered from a specific problem.

While retesting isn’t required, it is recommended that a client retests at the 6 month mark to measure improvement and adjust protocols if needed. Once a client has achieved their desired health results, we recommend annual testing to ensure your body systems continue functioning at their best.

Acupuncture:

Acupuncture is a very gentle procedure. However, sensations at the stimulated points of the body are common and often necessary in order to achieve the therapeutic goal. Overall, most people find it to be an extremely relaxing and comfortable procedure.

The rate of healing and frequency of treatment is dictated by the severity and duration of the illness and the strength of the appropriate treatment. Often it is necessary to be more aggressive in the initial stages of treatment. Acupuncture is a fast acting system of healing and changes in the illness should be noticed within the first few treatments. After your initial evaluation a straightforward treatment plan will always be explained to you.

Occasionally a person may get a small bruise at an acupuncture site, although this is fairly rare. Some people feel a little light headed after treatment, especially if they have not eaten adequately that day. Some of the points stimulated may be a little sore for 24 to 48 hours following acupuncture. The majority of people just feel extremely relaxed.
